Can air conditioning heat my home as well as cool it?
Yes. Modern split systems are heat pumps in their own right, so the same unit provides efficient heating in winter and cooling in summer at the touch of a button.
How long does an air conditioning installation take?
A single wall-mounted unit is typically installed in a day. Multi-split and ducted systems usually take two to three days depending on the size of the property.
Do I need planning permission for an outdoor unit?
Most domestic installations fall under permitted development, but rules differ for flats, listed buildings and conservation areas. We advise on this during your free site survey.
How much does air conditioning cost to run?
Inverter-driven systems are very efficient. A typical bedroom unit costs a few pence per hour to run, and in heating mode they deliver around three to four units of heat for every unit of electricity used.
